Analyses generated by artificial intelligence do not constitute legal advice.Pursuant to French regulations (Act of December 31, 1971), only licensed attorneys are authorized to deliver customized legal advice. Using our AI tools does not establish any legal advisory contract or attorney-client relationship.

2. Purpose of the Service
Jurilia aims to democratize and simplify access to French Law using artificial intelligence and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The Service provides:
- A natural language explanation interface for legal questions;
- Cross-referencing of the AI explanation with applicable official legal articles and codes ("Double View" layout);
- Automatic action suggestions (such as formal notice recommendations);
- A generator for customizable formal notice letters and email templates;
- Exporting of legal synthesis dossiers and their secure transmission to registered professional lawyers.
3. Access and Registration
Access to the platform is open to any registered individual user. Registration is divided into two distinct profiles:
- Individual Profile (Client): Allows asking questions to the AI, viewing conversation history, managing token credits, and exporting synthesis dossiers.
- Lawyer Profile (Professional): Provides a secure dashboard to view synthesis dossiers sent by clients in their geographic area, monitor case law alerts, and update their profile details in the lawyer directory.
Users agree to provide accurate information during registration. Jurilia reserves the right to suspend any account suspected of fraud or professional identity theft.
3.1 Financial Terms and Disclaimer of Right of Withdrawal
The platform offers paid services (token credits and subscriptions). In accordance with Article L.221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, since these services consist of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium whose execution begins immediately upon the user's prior express consent and waiver of their right of withdrawal, the user acknowledges and agrees that they cannot exercise a right of withdrawal for any consumed tokens or activated subscriptions.
4. AI Features & RAG Engine
The platform uses an artificial intelligence model (Mistral Large via LangChain.js) combined with a RAG search engine. This engine queries a vector database containing codified text from French Law (Civil Code, Labor Code, etc.).
While continuous efforts are made to match AI answers with current laws, AI is an automated statistical tool. It does not possess a human understanding of the user's specific context.
5. Absolute Disclaimer of Legal Advice
IMPORTANT: Jurilia IS NOT A LAW FIRM AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE.
Pursuant to French Law No. 71-1130 of December 31, 1971, providing legal advice and drafting legal documents for third parties are strictly reserved for licensed legal professionals (specifically attorneys admitted to a bar).
As a result:
- AI responses are purely informational and exist solely to explain applicable law in a general manner. They do not constitute a legal consultation tailored to a specific situation.
- Generated letter templates (formal notices) are standard templates to be completed by the user under their own responsibility. Users must verify and validate all bracketed information before sending.
- Users must not initiate legal action or make major financial or personal decisions solely based on the information displayed on this website.
6. Relationship with Registered Lawyers
The Service allows individuals to transmit their AI-generated synthesis dossier to a lawyer registered in the platform's directory.
- Technical Intermediary Role: Jurilia acts strictly as an information broker and hosting provider. Jurilia does not advise users on choosing a specific lawyer and does not guarantee that a lawyer will accept the case.
- Professional Independence: Registered lawyers practice their profession with absolute independence and in accordance with their professional code of ethics. Jurilia does not interfere in the representation relationship that may be established between the user and the lawyer.
- No Referral Fee: Jurilia does not charge or receive any commission, referral fee, or percentage of the fees billed by lawyers to their clients. Subscription fees paid by lawyers to the platform only cover access to technical tools (management dashboard, case law watch, research engine).
7. Personal Data & Privacy (GDPR)
Jurilia is committed to protecting user privacy in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
- Dossier Security: All data describing your legal situation, questions, and attached files are fully encrypted during storage.
- Data Recipients: Synthesis dossiers are only accessible to the emitting user and the chosen lawyer (or proposed to the local pool of your city if no lawyer is selected). No data is sold to third parties or used for advertising.
- User Rights: You have a right to access, rectify, restrict processing, object, and delete your personal data. These rights can be exercised by emailing contact@jurilia.fr.
8. Limitation of Liability
Jurilia disclaims any liability for:
- Inaccuracies, omissions, errors, or hallucinations generated by the artificial intelligence. The official legal texts cited on the right ("Double View") are the sole authority.
- Direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of information or document templates obtained on the website.
- Temporary interruptions or malfunctions of the platform beyond its reasonable control.
The user accepts that the service is provided "as is" and used at their own risk.
9. Governing Law and Mediation
